Fine art framing, restorations, art gallery and show room
who we are & how we approach our work
Julie became a trusted hand at Great Road Gallery & Framing in the fall of 2020 and will be carrying on the shop’s legacy as the new owner as of January 2021. Julie worked diligently alongside Bud, both in the gallery with our close family of customers and in the shop crafting and assembling custom framing projects. Julie is thrilled to be starting this fulfilling journey with the continued support of our community.
Before joining us here at Great Road Gallery, Julie was a Montessori teacher and artist. She has a BFA in Studio Art and Anthropology with a minor in Art History along with a Master’s degree in Education. She moved to the area from upstate NY last year with her husband Bruno and dog Asher. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, painting, and listening to podcasts while assembling puzzles. Julie is creative and knowledgeable and is eager to direct her interests and experience toward the continued service of this local arts community.
We believe that our surroundings affect the way we think and feel, which is why we pride ourselves in creating timeless pieces that spark joy and speak to the heart for years to come. We know that each project is unique, so we offer solutions tailored to you - your home or office, your family, your one-of-a kind vision.
As artists, we understand that the right composition and framing can make all the difference. Our goal is to select designs that compliment your prints, photographs, original artwork, memorabilia, and other collections and give the the presence they deserve.
Not all methods and materials are of the same quality or meant for the same application, so we make sure we hand pick the best methods and materials for your specific needs.
